Martha’s Pen: FRIENDS

No matter how we think we can run it all alone
How we can do our one man mopol
How we can be our own hero
We need F*R*I*E*N*D*S
No matter how we can satisfy ourselves
Be our own friends
Be all and be fun for ourselves
We need F*R*I*E*N*D*S
I know its fear of the having our heart pierced again
Again by those we have called Friends
Now we build our walls so high, so high no one wants to climb over
But no matter how bad it is
We need F*R*I*E*N*D*S
We all need a shoulder to lean on
We all need people to live life and play with
We need to make life beautiful with people
We need to share dreams and jokes with them
Who will listen to all my boring jokes, hurt me but still I love
We need F*R*I*E*N*D*S
We need to see the good in everything
Forgive easily and make peace
With no segregation of whom is best for us
We meet them even in the unusual of places
No matter how much a loner you claim to be
Sometimes all you need is a friend indeed (Anonymous.A)
