Nicki Minaj has taken to her Instagram to reiterate why she crowns herself the Queen of Rap, and many people think this is yet another diss shot at Remy Ma’s direction.

The new drama may have started after Remy Ma posted a video, informing fans that she has just received a plaque from ASCAP for co-writing the smash hit song, All the Way Up.

Thank you ASCAP for my songwriter Awards, I’m so appreciative,” Remy Ma said in the video.

As expected, the post stirred mixed reactions. While many people congratulated the #Shether rapper, others felt she shaded Nicki Minaj in the caption.

Hours after Remy Ma posted her video, Nicki Minaj took to the same platform to brag about her achievements, yet again.

According to Universal Records, this year alone, my album catalogue sold 325K worldwide and #ThePinkprint is now at 4 Million worldwide,” she began. “Since January, I’ve received 11 billboard entries, and yesterday with that ASCAP award, I became the most awarded female rapper in history,” she added.

The No Frauds rapper also noted her historical accomplishment of unseating Aretha Franklin to become the first female in the history of music with the highest entries in the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

They don’t want you to post your achievements & accomplishments. It makes them uncomfortable. But you must! B/c everyday, ppl broadcast your failures. They shout them to the mountain tops. So never EVER stop posting your accomplishments,” Nicki concluded.

The BET Awards holds today, Sunday, June 25, and Nicki Minaj will not be attending. The rapper has made this abundantly clear in a recent Instagram post, and many people think it is because of Remy Ma who was nominated for the same Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, a category Nicki Minaj had won for 7 consecutive years, since 2010.

Will Nicki Minaj add one more accolade to her over-decorated hat today? We can’t wait to see who takes the award home this year.
